Is Rachel Agostini a licensed insurance agent in Trinidad and Tobago?
Yes. Rachel is listed on the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago register of sales representatives under Guardian Life of the Caribbean Limited, the life, health and pensions company of Guardian Group.
Which Guardian products can Rachel arrange?
Life insurance (whole life, term and the Life Evolution series), critical illness (the Phoenix Plan), health plans, pensions and registered annuities, education savings, personal accident, travel, business, marine and employee benefits, plus Guardian Asset Management investment products. Rachel does not write motor, cyber or home insurance.
How much does a consultation cost?
Nothing. Advice and quotations are free. You only pay a premium if you decide to take out a policy, and that premium is the same whether you buy through Rachel or directly.
Are annuity and pension contributions tax deductible in Trinidad and Tobago?
Contributions to approved annuity and pension plans are deductible against income tax within the limit set by the Board of Inland Revenue, which also includes National Insurance contributions. Rachel will show you how much of your contribution qualifies in your situation.
What does critical illness cover pay for?
A critical illness plan pays a tax-free lump sum directly to you on diagnosis of a covered condition such as cancer, stroke or heart attack. You decide how to use it: treatment abroad, replacing income, clearing debt or simply focusing on recovery.
